How to clean your kawaii plush

Accidents can easily happen. Before you know it, you'll spill some food or drink on your favorite Rilakkuma or Sumikkogurashi plush, or accidentally drop it on the dirty floor. The result: a messy plush.

Luckily, this can be solved! After reading this blog post, you'll know exactly how to get your favorite stuffed animals clean again.

What you need

  • 1 tub or bucket
  • 3 wipes
  • 1 towel
  • neutral detergent
  • fabric softener

How to clean your plush

  1. Put a little neutral detergent in a bowl (or bucket) of water and soak a cloth in it for a few minutes.
  2. Take the cloth and gently wipe the dirty parts of your favorite plush with it.
  3. Then wet another cloth with water, wring it out and wipe the detergent off the plush.
  4. Dampen another cloth with some fabric softener and wring it out. Gently tap the plush with the towel. This will soften the material again.
  5. Gently pat the plush dry with a dry towel.
  6. Let the plush dry in an airy place.

Never put your plush in the washing machine, as it could lose its shape. You certainly don't want that! Cleaning it works perfectly as described above. ^_^
