How I Prevent Mistakes When Packing Orders

Over the past few years, my shop has grown a lot. Which is amazing, of course, but it also came with new challenges.

When I first started, I could easily pack orders from memory. But as the number and size of orders increased, that quickly became harder. Every now and then, I’d accidentally pack just one item while a customer had actually ordered two or more. Not ideal.

That’s when I started using a barcode scanner, and it made a huge difference. Now I scan every order, so I know everything is correct. It not only prevents mistakes, but also saves me time and stress. 😊

I personally use the Zebra DS2278 and I’m really happy with it. It’s wireless and very easy to use.
