4 years of full-time Cuteness! Still loving it every day! 💖

Today is April 15th, which means it’s been exactly 4 years since I took the leap to work full-time on Cuteness.nl.

But actually, this adventure started much earlier...

Back in late 2007, I started Cuteness as a hobby alongside my studies, simply because I loved cute things. I was obsessed with kawaii goodies, but they were nearly impossible to find in the Netherlands.
That’s how the idea for Cuteness was born.

What started small slowly grew into something bigger. And in 2021, I decided to quit my salaried job and go all in.

Scary? A little, especially on quiet days in the shop. 😅 But I’m still happy I made that choice every single day, because:

🌸 I get to manage my own time.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 I can always be there for my family (without feeling guilty toward an employer).
📦 And I get to spend my days doing something that truly makes me happy!
